Fat Loss Program

Fat loss is called Lipolysis- the breakdown of lipids and involves hydrolysis of triglycerides into glycerol and free fatty acids.

Triglycerides are transported through the blood to appropriate tissues (adipose, muscle, etc.) bylipoproteins such as Very-Low-Density-Lipoproteins (VLDL). Triglycerides present on the VLDL undergo lipolysis by the cellular lipases of target tissues, which yields glycerol and free fatty acids. Free fatty acids released into the blood are then available for cellular uptake.Free fatty acids not immediately taken up by cells may bind to albumin for transport to surrounding tissues that require energy. Serum albumin is the major carrier of free fatty acids in the blood.The glycerol also enters the bloodstream and is absorbed by the liver or kidney where it is converted to glycerol 3-phosphate by the enzyme glycerol kinase. Hepatic glycerol 3-phosphate is converted mostly into dihydroxyacetonephosphate (DHAP) and thenglyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (GA3P) to rejoin the glycolysis and gluconeogenesis pathway.

Selection of workout should aim at stripping fat without sacrificing your hard earned muscles. The sets should have minimal rest between the reps. The Circuit Training as mentioned in another articles is the most suitable for this purpose.

Muscle Building Program

The Science of muscle building was mentioned in a separate article, click on this Link to read on.If you are targeting to build muscles, your workout should come with variety of motions and style so as it may target and enhance muscle growth at specific areas . For example ABS Program Level 1 and 2  mentioned in No Equipment Workout are designed to work on Upper , Lower and Obliques Abdominal ABS.


Strength Building Program

Circuit Training is recommended for muscle strength improvement. It is  a form of body conditioning or resistance training using high-intensity aerobics. It targets strength building and muscular endurance.  When one circuit is complete, one begins the first exercise again for the next circuit. Traditionally, the time between exercises in circuit training is short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise.

As the muscle strength improves, much higher level of training is needed to further strengthen the core. This means much difficult movement and increase number of reps is needed to achieve higher level of muscle strength.



Sport Training Program

For sportsman, muscle strength  and growth is mandatory in order to be excel in their fitness, speed, endurance , accuracy and overall performance. Besides a special workout movements related to the type of of sport is carefully selected,  ABS core muscles is one of the key targeted area to strengthen in  various sports : racket sports, boxing, body contact sports (basketball, football etc) , you name it..
